Does Diversity Affect Me?  – Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Workshop

Dr. Terrence D. Duncan,  author of Four Fits of Holistic Growth, Four Fits of Dynamic Leadership, and The Mahogany Legacy Project and owner of JI Enterprises

Like other highly skilled and well-paying professions, the legal profession features several challenges regarding practices ranging from employment, to community stakeholder engagement, and composition perceptions. Although many firms enjoy profitability, the spate of socioeconomic challenges from a political, social, and economic viewpoint warrants an ongoing discussion and strategic approach to ensure continued success.

This one-hour presentation on diversity, equity, and inclusion focused on how solo and small firms can address the current DEI challenges facing the legal profession with recommendations to avoid potential malpractice, increase potential client base, broaden their potential associate pool and improve stakeholder engagement.
